Titles, one run at a time.

Points from every run add up. Each title needs a total, not a number of runs, and after FCAT a new number comes every 500 points.

Speed times handicap

Enter a time and your dog's height. Small dogs get ×2.0, medium ×1.5 and dogs 18 inches or taller ×1.0, so a little dog's run can be worth more than a fast big dog's.

Fast CAT questions.

How are Fast CAT points worked out?

Speed in miles per hour is 204.545 divided by the seconds your dog took over the 100-yard dash. Points are that speed times the handicap for your dog’s height: ×2.0 under 12 inches, ×1.5 from 12 to under 18 inches, and ×1.0 at 18 inches or taller.

How many points are the Fast CAT titles?

BCAT at 150 points, DCAT at 500 and FCAT at 1,000. After that, FCAT2 is at 1,500, FCAT3 at 2,000, and a new number every 500 points.

Is the top-three average my AKC ranking?

No. AKC ranks dogs on the average of their three fastest runs in a calendar year. The top-three average in ShowPoints covers every run you have logged.

Can I add runs from before I used ShowPoints?

Yes. Enter your starting points, and ShowPoints adds new runs on top.
