Read from the program

A judging program gives a ring, a judge and a start time, and then a list of breeds. The first breed goes in at the start time. The rest are “about”: ShowPoints allows about two minutes for each dog entered ahead, the way you would with a pencil.

ShowPoints isn’t affiliated with the AKC. We read this from the official judging program, so it can have mistakes; times marked “about” are our estimate.

The night before

The next show leads your home screen, with every dog's ring and time in the order you'll need them. Set a reminder before judging and your phone taps you, even with no signal at the showground.

Home screen on Saturday, October 10: Tomorrow in Stillwater, Seminole Kennel Club, Sunday October 11. Duke, Ring 1, about 9:10 AM. Maple, Ring 2, about 10:06 AM. Juniper, Ring 2, about 11:51 AM.

Ring time questions.

How does ShowPoints work out my ring time?

When the judging program posts, ShowPoints reads the ring, the judge and the order of breeds, then estimates when your breed goes in from the ring start time and the dogs entered ahead of it, about two minutes each. Times marked "about" are our estimate.

When will I see ring times?

As soon as the judging program is posted, and you get an alert when it is. Until then the show page says ring times aren't out yet and shows who judges each breed.

Does ticking my dogs enter them in the show?

No. Ticking the dogs you're showing only tells ShowPoints whose times to work out. You still enter through the superintendent or show secretary.

Are the ring times official?

No. ShowPoints isn't affiliated with the AKC. We read the times from the official judging program, so they can have mistakes. Check the program at the show if anything looks off.
