  • Dog and breed information: details you choose to add for your own profiles.
  • Onboarding survey information: such as your state, handler type, and how often you show, which help us personalize your experience and understand user needs.
  • App usage data: shows you favorite or link through to.
  • Device and analytics data: information like device type, operating system, and app interactions, to improve performance.
  • Website data: information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies or similar technologies used to analyze traffic and improve the website.
  • Contact forms: information you provide when submitting forms on our website (e.g., newsletter signup, inquiries).

We do not collect or process show entries, payments, or official results.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and improve the ShowPoints app and website.
  • Display personalized features, like saved dogs and favorite shows.
  • Estimate championship and grand championship points.
  • Communicate with you about updates or support.
  • Monitor performance and fix issues across the app and website.
  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our website.
  • Generate aggregated, anonymous insights (e.g., heat maps of exhibitor interest, survey-based demographics, or trends across shows) that may be shared with clubs or partners. These insights never include personal information or identify individual users or dogs.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data only in these cases:

  • Aggregated, anonymous insights: shared with clubs or partners to help improve shows and the exhibitor experience, without identifying individuals.
  • Service providers: third-party tools that help us run the Services (e.g., analytics, hosting).
  • Legal reasons: if required by law or to protect our rights.

We may provide links to third-party sites (e.g., AKC, superintendent pages). Their privacy policies apply, not ours.

4. Purchases and Payments

All in-app purchases are processed through the App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store payment card details.

If website-based payments or subscriptions become available, they will be processed through secure third-party providers, and we will update this section accordingly.

5. Your Choices

  • You may update or delete your account information in the app.
  • You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link.
  • You may request that we delete your account data by contacting us at contact@showpoints.app.
  • Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings; disabling cookies may affect website functionality.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable period (typically 30 days), except where we are required to retain it for legal or administrative purposes.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

8. International Users

If you access ShowPoints from outside the United States, please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
